CÓMPETA
The village of Cómpeta is a five minute drive or 20 minute walk from the villa. Known as 'the pearl of the Axarquia', it offers a real taste of Spain. Take a walk through the narrow winding streets of white-washed houses, marvel at the cliff houses and take in some of the history of this ancient Moorish village. Pause for a moment to take in the panoramic views of the stunning mountains and Sierra Almijara National Park before sampling the local wine and tapas.
THE COAST AND INLAND
Some of the best beaches in the Costa del Sol are within 30 minutes drive. From quiet coves to busy seaside resorts there's something for everyone. The villa is ideally located to visit some of the fantastic cities in Málaga province including Granada, Seville, Córdoba and not forgetting Málaga itself – steeped in history and culture.
